Beitou Four Seasons Observation Deck

 

It may look remote and high up in the mountains but this beautiful outlook is only a 15-minute drive from the nearest MRT station.

BEITOU DISTRICT —This is a great place to grab some panoramic views of the city.  It's a lovely place but gets a little crowded and annoying on weekends with all of the spoiled rich teenagers and their loud scooters.  Other than that this is an awesome place to stop for a few shots on your journey through Taipei.

A few other great spots to visit near here are Beitou Thermal Valley, Beitou Abandoned House, Zhongyang Channel, Tianjing 360, and Chinese Culture University (as seen on the top left in the picture above).
