Beitou Market

 

This is one of my favorite places to do street photography.  It's so chaotic here and full of interesting characters.

BEITOU DISTRICT —This is a part of Beitou that most tourists won't see.  This is the real Beitou.  Every day people come here to wheel and deal, others come to get drunk.  There's a community center near the outdoor market where old folks like to party.  If you come here to do candid street shots I promise you don't be disappointed.
