BANQIAO DISTRICT — There are both good and bad things about New Taipei City compared to Taipei.  The good is that there are more strange and funny things to see, and the night markets aren't as boring.  The bad is that there are more loud annoying scooters that drive through crazily and almost kill you.

If you happen to visit this place around Christmas time it's also worth checking out the Banqiao Christmas Lights display that is nearby at the MRT Station.
